Developers David Schwab and Richard Johnson are conjuring some magic in
the hills and valleys of Williamson County.
The owners of Brentwood-based The Principals Group have been involved
in the land-development business in the greater Nashville area since the
mid-1980s, and are excited about their latest project, the King
Arthur-themed development known as Avalon. Almost all The Principals
Group's projects are based on themes -- past projects have included golf
courses, a marina, and equestrian themes. Avalon's medieval England
theme is the latest evolution of the partners' creativity.
The Principals Group specializes in planning developments that
feature upper-end housing in affluent neighborhoods. Homes are often
priced at more than $1 million.
Recent area projects that showcase their talents include The Governers Club, Brandon Park Downs, and Lynnwood Downs in Williamson
County and The Last Plantation in Gallatin. Both Johnson and Schwab are
accomplished in the fields of land acquisition, land planning,
infrastructure, financing, marketing, and sales.
