Old England meets Cool Springs with a $300 million real estate project called Avalon in Franklin, Tennessee. The spacious 645-acre development of homes, condominiums, townhouses, and natural woodlands extends the eastern end of Cool Springs Boulevard to McEwen Lane, with Wilson Pike as the property's eastern boundary.

Located off Interstate 65, east of the Franklin Marriott Conference Center, the development is 96 seconds and 1,500 years from the Cool Springs shopping area.

Avalon is the brainchild of developers David Schwab and Richard Johnson, who own the Brentwood-based firm The Principals Group, LLC. The two have partnered on several other successful Williamson County housing developments, including The Governers Club, Lynnwood Downs, and Brandon Park Downs.
